Some Progress

Today I finally moved my sons together to make room for baby. Yes, I know it's taken a while. I am sure if you were a fly on the wall watching me lug a twin mattress and bed frame down the stairs with a big prego belly it would have been quite a sight. I know if my mom saw me she would have had a fit! Don't worry mom...I'm okay. :) The bed is temporarily in place until we get a different bed frame. But it's some progress...Tomorrow I am taking a trip to IKEA to get a desk very similar to this one. Once that is in place the room is almost complete..it's looking great so far. (although with 2 teenage boys...that won't last long!) Pictures to come soon..I promise! I am getting excited to start tackling the baby's room. I've got quite the stash of decor piling up in our room. This darling picture arrived on my doorstep today and can't wait to get it hung in the space. Paint cans are waiting...I can't believe we only have 10 to 12 weeks left! Crossing my fingers for 10! I first spied this picture in the Pottery Barn Kids catalog and it was love at first sight. I couldn't stop thinking about it. The $250.00 price tag is what I couldn't stomach though....I went on a search and found a smaller version 24x18 (which is a perfect size for over a dresser or crib) on amazon of all places. They first gave me a shipping estimate of 4 to 6 weeks but I received it in a week! I am so glad that I searched for it somewhere else. I absolutely love it!
